I am working on a new custom job ( ronin dojo pro elite bare blade) and I am making my own tsuba.
It will be made out of 1/4 inch copper plate (iron would be too difficult to cut).
It is going to take the form of a swallow(tsubame) in a circle.
I want to get it plated after it is finished, I would like it to have an antique silver look.
Is there any information that any of you could share that might help?
Thank you. Mike.

Follow his instructions. You will be plating everything over everything. Really. I have been doing plating with his potion and it works to a T. Above is part 1 and there are 2 more vids you have to watch. Take notes because the formula. Easy, cheap and it works. I have done silver plating over Chinese ,,bronze'' Tsuba, the most suspect material there is, because Chinese tend to ,,enhance'' their bronze with trwowing all kinds of semprini in there, like lampposts, bicycle frames and whatever. Still the formula works. Try it out. Its fun! And SAFE!
Cheers.
Cheers.
