It's been mentioned a couple times, but I would also go with Boromir's sword. Although I think all the swords in LotR are good and interesting designs.

Since part of my collection is dedicated to LOTR... my favourites would be:
Eomer's Guthwine - best... just overall. Glamdring - best aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Anduril - best significance (and I think very well designed). Strider's Ranger - best handling.
I wish United Cutlery did a better job with their "Museum Collection" line. Trying to turn their replicas into fully functional swords.

Striders ranger.. Bilbo's sting.. (with engravings) Glamdring.. Hadhafang.. Boromirs sword.. Theodens sword..
I also dig the ring wraith swords. The zoom in as we think they are about the stab the sleeping hobbits! The steel looks absolutely ancient, rusted, patina, etched, chips and gouges.
Clearly weapons from another age. From another war.
