You might be from SBG if you always pick melee class, even if it's the worst in that video game This. Diablo III, Skyrim, Oblivion, Dragons Dogma... always Two-Handed Barbarian. Always. Cant be helped.

Cant be helped. I got a soft spot for the Duel welders. I was melee even in left4dead2 lol. It was way less efficient than how my buddy used guns, but man it was fun once I got the katana

You ever make yourself a sword? Here you go. I made a sword sort of years ago from Rotary Mower Blade. The kind you hook to the back of your tractor. This guy in the video below pretty much used the same methods I did. It was a great tool for hacking down small trees!!

You ever make yourself a sword? just a over weight viking sword a few years ago. I have 24 katana, and only 6 euro swords.

I would end up keeping them and going outta business 😂

It was way less efficient than how my buddy used guns, but man it was fun once I got the katana For obvious reasons, I completely am of the same mind. As in real life, so too in games do I always go for dexterity and dual wielding. Too bad so few games get dual wielding right (Dark Souls is notably awful with it). Skyrim was fine for what it was, but the only games where a dual sword setup flowed well were in games in which you couldn't customize what you were dual wielding (Nioh, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden).
Here's another: if you have an implicit bias against stories or games that don't involve swords.

Dragon age wasn't bad either, but it didn't feel like it mattered since you didn't really control their attack timing

OH OH>>>Another! You may be an SBG member if you have 20 giant trash bags full of saved plastic bottles for the next cutting session. I can relate to that lol
Another one is when the postmen realize they are in fact delivering swords at your door, start getting curious and ask about them.

My postman was to the point where he was guessing what type of sword was in each package as they came in. 😝

You might be a SBG forum member if...
At first, you thought you would only ever own one...okay, maybe two...three swords max. So running out of space was never a thought until you got into basket hilts, and now you’re getting into Viking Era swords and messers because you can really pack ‘em together in the safe.

There is much truth in your words, those darn baskethilts and rapiers...
... if you stop to count your swords and start to count your rooms full of swords instead.

So far, only one room for me...but I'm having to consolidate space to make more room in that one room. When you start adding armor to your sword collection, the space starts running tight pretty quick. I'm planning on building a couple of life-size armor stands so my wife can have her sewing machine table back.

Two rooms for me, and thinking "where next"? We were breakfasting the other day watching morning TV. The subject under discussion was addiction and they had a handful doctors offering their rehabilitating views. I asked Hazel if she thought they could help me with mine. He eyes got wide and asked if I was addicted. I said afraid so. She got very concerned and asked my addiction. I told her to take a look in the bedroom and office at those swords.

Still only one room but several wardrobes with corners with buckets with swords (darn baskethilts & rapiers!). Just looked up "wardrobe" in a dictionary: Another term: "ARMOIRE" - a portent, a portent!!
