I might have to get myself some grip band. I love the look of it. Maybe I can use hockey tape to cover my spear shaft but grip band for the parts I actually hold it

Djjin, I have several of the Honshu Boshin line and the Honshu (not Boshin) tac wak. Boshin line is a mixed bag. Anything in particular your interested in?
Edit: four if you count the hanwei tac kat which you didn’t include in that pic. And you say it’s you favorite sword! Tsk tsk. It’s sad now I’m sure. 😏

I really like the Honshu Boshin double edged ninja sword!
Not so heavy like other bigger UC swords and they made a good mass distribution without distal taper only by changing the cross section.
Good handling!

Haven’t handled the double sided Honshu. Have the HB wak, first sword I bought. Is good but a bit blade heavy. Have the HB war sword. Love the grip but is very blade heavy! Couldn’t fight with it but would be good for beheading stuff. Have a few of their knives that are nice. And just got the sub-hilt wakizashi. Really like it but the blade finish leaves a bit to be desired. But what can you expect at that price point. I really should do a comparison review of my tac kats and waks sometime but you guys would want pictures. Don’t link the instructions, I’ve read them several time and still can’t figure it out completely. I’m retarded, what can I say.

I have the HB kat also, it's a bit blade heavy but handles more or less like my Hanwei Raptor Shinogi Zukuri.
The double edged sword is much more fun to handle.
This sword and the two Zombie Tool swords show how to get a good mass distribution for an agile sword without distal taper and the HB even without profile taper, just with changes in the cross section.

Those sound like they are exactly what I'm looking for. A zombie sword. I got some fantastic swords for martial arts applications but it's the zombie swords I wanna build up in numbers
