I just ordered a buckler myself. 14ga. , 15-1/2'' wide. Steel reinforcement plates riveted in an X-pattern. I'm gonna give it a shot with a couple of my swords and maybe even my shorty Windlass hewing spear. I suck at posting links, but the buckler is on Amazon under 'buckler shield'---top of the page. Good reviews.....We'll see.... Good to see you posting again, Bro.

Plus it feels cool when the thing is made entirely out of steel
