Hello, I was hoping someone could help me identify a sword. I have attached 2 pictures. The overall length is 30", The blade is 23 1/2", the hilt is 6 1/2" and the overall length is 30". The only identifying marking is the word "HABANA" on the bottom front of the hilt. I was thinking it is possibly from the Spanish American war, but I haven't seen anything like it yet. I would appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks, Brian Morrow Attachments:

Looks lika a 19th century repop. I have a couple swords that are very similar, considering they are totally different designs.

It's the steel on the inside that counts.

Yep...Mid to late 19th or early 20th c. decorator or stage prop. Hang it on a wall and admire it.
