Hello, anyone see the movie "The Boy who would be King"? It's a kid flick but I found it enjoyable plus it has Patrick Stewart as Merlin! (well, the older version ). I enjoyed the movie, it's a good fantasy flick. I kind of like the film's Excalibur, not historical but in line with the Medieval Romances version of Excalibur. A bit battered but a good hand and a half sword. Anyone else see the movie? What did you think of the sword?

I did recently watch the 80's Excalibur, and it's interesting that Patrick Stewart played the first lord to follow Arthur after drawing the sword from the stone.

Yes! I completely forgot Patrick Stewart was in that movie. Strange, he doesn't seem to age!

To see the actor hes become since is remarkable. The acting in Excalibur. even his, was terrible. I hadn't seen it since it was released and it's been MUCH longer than I realized. I dont think I could sit through it again.
