I just recently picked up the BCI Pompeii Gladius off of eBay, it just came in this past Monday. I have been itching to cut test with it, however the weather has not permitted it. I am, however, very impressed with the craftsmanship, steel quality, sharpness, handling and weight. The grip on many gladius repros is usually very lacking, but the one on the BCI Gladius is excellent and very comfortable. It is maneuverable and not overly heavy, seems like an excellent chopper, and the tip is significantly reinforced to better aid in stabbing and penetration. All in all imo it was worth every penny. Hope this helps.
