This looks like one of the better deals out there. I sure think it is. I've also been pondering the CS Helmet Breaker or Kabutowari...actually a Hachiwari Skull Breaker, as you can't cut Japanese helmets in half with an offhand parrying rondel type dagger thingy. It is $99 at Special Projects. I purchased the tactical Rondel (among other things) for $50, and it is quite a piercing dagger, sort of a WW1 trench knife vibe with a lot of robustness at being under 9 1/2oz with a near 8" bld. length.

I have one, and like it. It's got a reserved, elegantly simple design. The hilt could be a bit thicker IMO though, it's a bit thin for my taste.

Haha, I think you're right. Hmm, wrapping the handle seems like a good idea... Maybe I'll try that. A Chinese style wrap with gutted paracord might be nice.
