So I went and pre-ordered a English/Scottish Broadsword (Baskethilt). Balefire was working with my mentor from the Cateran Society to build a broadsword trainer. Below is his review (with pics and video) of the prototype. cateransociety.wordpress.com/2018/10/25/balefire-blades-broadsword-prototype-review/Sword goes into production in February. I await the mail carrier and my sword with baited breath. Chris from Balefire is the former apprentice of Marco Danelli. Sword Specs(from the review posted above): So to sum it up: Chris did a great job making the Angelo prototype robust, wieldy and good (meaning authentic) looking. Even without the small changes in the works, the prototype is a very, very good broadsword trainer and I would have no trouble highly recommending it. Overall Length: 103 cm (40.55") Blade Length: 86 cm (33.85") Total weight: 1250 g (2.75lbs) lbs PoB: 7.5 cm (2.95")

So the wait continues. I am told it will be produced sometime this week. The waiting is killing me. They have promised production pics. So here is hoping I have more on this sword soon.
