but I have gone thru about 200 of them over the years. Now it's just a shorty AR15, a Kahr CW9 for practice and competition, a CM9 for ccw, and a Taurus PT 22 (RF practice for the wife, until she's good enough to move up to her own 9mm's). Then the Taurus will get suppressed for use as a trail gun and for shtf.
Never did much with shotguns, preferred to hunt small game with .22's, usually the pistol, often with a suppressed variant. Sold my last shotgun in 1978, haven't owned any longarm but an AR for almost that long. Had a 1022 and a Marlin Papoose in the interim, but prefer the .22lr conversion unit for the AR. Sold my last revolver in 1985, have owned none since. Sold my last full sized pistol in 2006. Dont miss any of those things a lick, either. When I talk myself out of something, I almost never go back. I've owned half a dozen bolt actions, a cap and ball, a 3 single shots, 15 or so revolvers. Scores of 1911 variants, dozens of Ruger .22lr autopistols, a few browning autopistols, some Stars. 3 Berettas, 1 each if a few miscelleaneous types. Had a match m1A, 1975, was unimpressed.

If you buy guns at or near retail and then sell or trade them to a dealer, you lose your ass every time. $100-$200, sometimes a lot more.. I averaged a new gun per month for 10 years, back in the 70's and 80's. For many years, I averaged losing $50 per gun ($300 or more per gun, in today's money) until I figured out that I should only buy them used, from private parties, gunsmith them, and sell only to private parties. Then I'd make $100 or so per gun, sometimes $200, if I did a full package on a 1911. That's $1000 in today's money.

Just wondering, do you own anything other than .22lr, particularly for home/self defense against man or beast?

Kahr makes great tiny pocket guns... They used to own that market but now everyone is in it. I just can't own one because of the owner, Justin Moon... An out and out whackjob.

I remember the good old days of simplicity which was a couple guns, swords, boots, coats. Just enough clothing for 5-days before you had to wash them. I plan to get back to that way of life when I am older before the reaper comes. Just went through clearing everything out my Dad had last year and that was a major pain in the ass...…..

Don't wait, William, simplify your life by sending those guns & blades to me. No ulterior motives, as I'm only here to help (shamelessly lying, of course ).

I hope that person will be in the ballpark of Dave (Smaug the dragon) Kelly.

Holy crap, that looks crazy... it looks too involved to really research right now, but church services with a guy that looks like this? I'm a little hesitant lol. I'm not one to condemn people based on their religious views (so long as they don't affect others) but I don't know man, this seems like a little much. I never knew Kahr Arms was owned by these guys.
