Modified Cold Steel Viking Hand Axe. Many people actually tried to talk me out of buying this one but I am glad I did it anyway. After taking the set screw out and shaping the handle to fit the eye better and putting a good edge on it with hand files it made a great axe. It holds a pretty sharp edge as well contrary to what I was told. Lesson is do not believe everything you hear about something.

I love working with these axes. I have done two so far and have another waiting to be worked on. Not "endless" possibilities, but it is pretty much a blank canvas!
Looks great!!!

Those look much nicer now!
If you took out the set screw what's stopping the head from wobbling around and getting loose?
