Hey guys, this is a little review of my first single handed sword, I bought last week. Got it for 169 EUR from a sword shop here in Germany. The shop did not clearly mention the maker, but after some investigation (makers mark was visible on their pictures), I dicovered, that the maker is Viktor Berbekucz from Hungary. My expectations weren't too high for this price, but I must admit, that it was a real steal for the money. The overall result of this sword is pretty good. The total length is 890mm blade lenght 700mm blade thickness at guard about 3,3mm with fuller blade width at guard 42mm grip length 120mm pommel length 60mm weight 1170g The shop says the blade is made from 1095 steel and its hardness about 55-57 HRC ( I will ask that Viktor Berbekucz myself). And not to forget to mention, that we have a peened pommel here. Handling is really good for my taste, although I don't have any experience with single handed swords. The forward point is right at the tip. For its overall length it should maybe be lighter, but I don't see a problem here, because it's nimble as hell. And last but not least a few pictures for you:
Oh, did I mention, that I will modify it one day?

Thanks for posting. When I was living in Germany, had him make me 5 swords. All came out really well and the prices were great.
