Hmm... just watched the final episode of season 2... no Mikeeman, no Wes? What happened? I saw Mikeeman in the intro, but no Wes at all? Or am i that blind?

Their episodes have been filmed and will air at a later date.I'm not sure they know which one they will be on specifically yet.

Almost every time I see this thread when my eyes are scanning the home page, my brain reads "Forum Member Appears Knifed to Death"

I don't have cable so I just encountered this show while on a work trip. If I am in a hotel I typically try to catch episodes of Forged in Fire and I saw some episodes of this instead.
It's an entertaining show although it had some cringy moments. The obstacles are interesting in that some require heavy chopping and some require precision slicing. What are thoughts on the best blade?
There don't seem to be length restrictions so I was thinking a double edged hand and a half sword and deliberating using one edge for things like 2x4s and ice and the other for the meat, straps, etc. I wonder if a budget-friendly blade would hold up to that abuse though.

You can typically watch it for free on Dailymotion.com. Personally, after having ran the course, I believe a blade between 22 and 25 inches is probably optimal. Shorter doesn't have the power, and longer starts punishing the flex. Single or double edge doesn't seem to matter, but 2" minimum width for sure. At least at the blades widest.

My episode hasn't aired, yet. It's in Season 3. And nice try, Jordan. Can't say how I did.

Word on the street is that Wes Beem's(Lonely Wolf Forge) episode is airing tomorrow, Sep. 5th. Be there or be square.
No word as of yet on Michael's air date. If I hear anything I'll report back.
