Now THAT is a worthy future SBG project--Reviewing what I've collected. Once I finish adding the next few swords, I'm going to be transcribing my 'first notes' and 'continued observations' on the swords I've got in my collection. A side project that might come to fruition would be to review and link each one from this main collection thread but ... that's in the future Really I should have written the reviews and observations when I first made them instead of sticking them in my notebook. Old habits from before this infernal tablet/smartphone Ouro

Hello Ouro from the UK , Love that collection of yours , some really nice pieces but I particularly like the Hanwei Silver Anniversary Katana , Wow . I am in the process of trying to buy my first Katana , but there is so much confusion out there as to how good or bad a product is it really baffles me . Don't fancy selling that one do you. I am searching for a katana around and up to Β£500 British pounds . It must have a proven quality blade of 28"-29" ,Clay Tempered , Differentially hardened with a nice clear Hamon fitted with a decent Tsuka, any ideas ? Take care M

Take care M Over the Xmas holidays I was lucky enough to get my paws on another Shinto to add to my collection. The First Generation of Hanwei Shinto. Though gen 1 is characterized by a lack of bohi I enjoy both equally. Perhaps the anniversary shinto is slightly lighter but both exhibit a fast draw and a smooth handling feel wΓ¬th agility to spare... I think a bit more care might have been put into the assembly of the anniversary shinto than the regular production model, but I enjoy both far too much to let either go on the sales block. Student of Sword had a 25th Anniversary Shinto up for sale not that long ago. tommyh had an interesting blade up for sale as well...the musashi limited edition by Hanwei. A beefier blade geometry more in line with heavier targets but I'm afraid I don't own one to give you a better idea how they handle after the initial few practice sessions with one. Hope you find your holy grail ππ» Cheers Ouro

You are a cool enough dude to make me feel confident about enjoying katana. You have an excellent collection and an even better attitude. Cool dude Thank you good sir! Anyone with an appreciation for the blade is welcome at my table, sit and enjoy, share a hearty tale! Though you won't find much variety in the shapes in my collection of sharp n pointed metal, i can appreciate swords of all different ages and styles .... this summer I'm looking forward to stashing some cash away for a sabre, or other Canadian/Brittish piece of history. Time to add some antiques to the shieldmaidens collection ππ»

I don't mind vegetarians. Corn and potatoes are amazing on a grill. Not as amazing as a steak or burger, but I chose a corn on the cob over a burger (as a kid) a ton of times.
As for being a handful, pretty much every kid in my family can be a handful haha. It's how I'm used to it. A behaved kid is where I am puzzled haha
