I recently picked up United cutlery mc sting.
Anyone knows good cheap scabbard for it? I recall someone saying there was a cheaper non licensed copy that worked well.
Also, I can do a review at some point if you want. It's... Cool. But not at the prices now. I paid 325 on eBay recently. However I sold my regular UC Sting for around 150, so I did okay. I think it's worth it for 199 or so. 400 plus is ridiculous.
Mine was factory wrapped and sealed. The silver vine on the handle is made from stickers. Part of mine near the hilt is peeling.that is a bummer. I think maybe painting some glue could be a fix, not sure. There is also an odd blue kind if tint to the hilt.
Cool that it's carbon and weathered and such. Has a better over all feel. I kept the production sting to compare. The standard model isn't bad. They are both going to just walk hang anyway.
Keeping an eye open for mc glamdring. If I can grab it for under 400 and it isn't twisted like scoliosis I'll definitely do so and sell the standard UC glamdring in my treasure hoard.
