Whenever Mike does well with knife making, I like to think of the knives I have that he made... Just shows how far one can come if they put in the effort. I wonder if Fallen/Driggers would ever make it on; I feel like he would do well. I doubt anybody remembers "Forged in SBG" but he had the fastest turnaround and most consistent blades of all the competitors. Not to take away from Mike, just musing. Mike did okay, too, I guess. Lyndle definitely made blades fit for the task. There's no doubt about that. But I don't think he would really enjoy the cameras and publicity. As far as the press, that actually wasn't mine. That was fellow forumite Tom Kinder's press. As per the Forged in Fire rules, you can use someone else's shop if yours isn't equipped to handle the final blade. So he let me use his. They hydraulic cylinder split along a weld line. It was as real as it gets. Oh I knew it was, I was just kidding you a little since that's usually what goes on on reality tv shows, something goes haywire and commercial break, lol. Cool of Tom to let you use his forge, he was on the show too if i remember right.

There were ultimately several forum members on that show and its spinoff. Some on both.
