I've got two sets of Yugo BFP furniture. Got some nice trench art on them. Saving them for a couple of builds I hope to do someday. Did you already have the AK, or did you build it? Definitely some cool wood grain.

I like mine, and my yugo rpk too. I want to get a rpk cut down to standard aka length. I got to shoot one a while back and loved it.
I want to get another under folder too.

Definitely some cool wood grain. I had it already but it had that terrible century wood that is too soft. I did replace it with a skeleton stock and synthetic parts but it just made it clunky feeling and the solid aluminum stock made it too heavy. It just handles better with the real Yugo wood and feels more handy. The but bad has more surface to it too and fits the shoulder better than the wood stock it came with and its steel butt plate.

If you did that the weapon would be hard to beat because your combining the thick RPK receiver with the short AK barrel. You would have a very durable AK. Also in my opinion having a long RPK barrel on a semi auto is kind of pointless so I can see why you would want it cut down. It would look cool if you leave the cooling fins tho with the short AK barrel.

Exactly. The long heavy finned barrel would still be useful for suppressing fire, just at a slower rate.
