Yes, the profile is nice. I know with swords and knives, the blade should be THE THING. But I easily get distracted by (and appreciate) good furniture/koshirae/etc on the hilt. So, with this bowie, I really do like the look of the wood grain on the hilt scales. And the scales and the tang of the knife fit absolutely seamlessly. That really stood out. I've held high end and custom knives and swords that failed in this department. Its always nice to see when some one gets it right. As for a sheath, yep, a bowie this cool deserves one. I'll have to come up with something eventually.
