Nice, now you need to do a Earl Norem version. His version was always the best in my opinion in regards to the sword and character art in general.
Still surprised nobody has asked you to do a blued version for a Skeletor rendition.

Thanks cperrin :D Thanks pellius Thanks nddave. Yeah, no one has ever asked for a Skeletor rendition. I think I recall someone once inquiring about a She-Ra version, but it never went anywhere. Thanks MOK, handling is pretty good for its weight with the balance point pretty close to the grip, but compared to a historical sword it's pretty poo. Stats below for reference. Thank you legacyofthesword :) Here are the statistics for this sword- Overall length 40.25 " Blade length 29.25 " Blade width at widest 4.75 ", tapering to 1.75 " at 3 " from the tip Blade thickness .2 ", tapering to .18 " at 3 " from the tip, so very little distal taper. Cross width 7.25 " Grip length 7.25 " POB 2.75 " from the grip COP 16 " from the grip Weight 6 pounds 8 ounces   |

ah that is true, now most of the fans would be at an age where they can actual afford something like this, a skeletor version, all dark purple and shiny would be dope to see

I thought the sword looked massive and something that required the Herculean type to operate, and then I read the statistics. WOW! And for the Man (capital letter there) that can weld it as should be a double WOW WOW.

He-Man (Masters of the Universe) was a huge action figure line from 81-88 and had an equally popular cartoon from 84-88. |

See this is what "fantasy" swords should look like. That, while certainly far from perfect, could still easily have functioned as a proper sword.
A lot of fantasy designs have stupid spikes that would stab you in the arm, or are ridiculously heavy or unwieldy, etc.

Well, at six-and-a-half pounds for a 40-inch sword, I wouldn't expect there to be anything "easily" or "proper" about that. But since a large part of the mass is right next to the hilt, I'll readily believe it's more manageable than, say, the Conan movie sword - I mean, it absolutely is ridiculously heavy, but probably not ridiculously unwieldy...

Sorry guys, but aren’t the weights that women do aerobics with 5lbs? Why is 6 1/2lbs SO heavy? Don’t any of you work out with weighted vests or heavier than normal swords?
