Hello all, Like the title says, I'm moving to Northern Georgia in about 4 months and once I'm settled in I'll be looking to start a study group. I'm formally associated with Long Island Historical Fencing Society. This time, instead of Kunst des Fechtens, I'd like to focus on Italian sources of the late medieval/early renaissance period. I'm still interested in some Meyer as well so I won't totally abandon the German school. If anyone is interested please shoot me a PM.

You should stick a pin in the locator map over on the HEMAA site.

You should stick a pin in the locator map over on the HEMAA site. I'll most likely do that once I'm settled. I should probably pay my membership dues too, come to think of it.

I like your focus BTW. I've spent years in the primal dungeon of I.33 and the early German sources but you have a very high static-to-noise ratio in those areas due to the difficulty of interpreting the material. For later Italian and Meyer the art ranges from good to masterful and there's far less of a question about what the author intended. The stuff works really well too.
