@djinnobi
Seriously? your Sword of Danu is arriving tomorrow?
That's nice.
My Castir's scabbard isn't even finished.

What did your new scabbard design look like? Or are you planning to show us when you get yours in the mail?

I actually let BCI go nuts with the design, but I did give them a reference image so it should look somewhat similar to this:

80$ for customs. F*ck sakes. As if. I ain't got 80$... And for Canadas slow sh*t delivery? This country loves raping our wallets for everything...
I will see what I can do. Maybe I can borrow from a money loan place or something

So the fact this cost 80$ is just outrageous. We don't even have great shipping time here either

Maybe I can borrow from a money loan place or something Was it by Canada Post/USPS, or a courier like UPS/FedEx? The private courier companies charge a "customs brokerage" fee which can often be quite ludicrous. In all fairness, there are some items which warrant a ludicrous customs brokerage fee (like shipping hazardous biological samples to a research laboratory in Azerbaijan...I'd rather let UPS deal with the customs paperwork on that!) But a sword to Canada... it's just a simple CBSA form that takes 5 minutes for the sender to fill out...

I usually never have problems with them. But I suppose it was sent by a business... But still. 80$. Thats an entire sword right there

Got mine. I’ll embed the pics later since I’m on the move right now. Two words: love it! Link to the temporary album: imgur.com/a/3I8rX

We don't even have great shipping time here either Its not exactly the same thing, but just for comparison's sake--I live in the central US, and just received a mace from Alaska. Box probably weighed a total of 3 lbs altogether. Seller shipped it on Friday via USPS, postage was about $20, and it got here early Monday. Sounds like things north of the border are worse. Sorry to hear that; I can sympathize.

Jelly as FFFF right now
JELLY!!
Edit: I haven't been able to contact Paul in nearly 2 weeks. I can't even ask him how my sword is doing.
Though apparently the Black Flamberge and Angelic Blade I posted earlier also had a bit of production issue. No news on them either.
