I have a project being made for me by my friend Jimbo Curry of SecondAgeSwords, it involves the Jeffery Robinson & Fable Blades Drake III sword, the fittings and blade have been separated and will be mounted onto 2 different pieces, the fittings onto a h/t longsword, and the fable blade will be mounted with excalibur fittings, to make a shortsword excalibur, both will have custom scabbards and will be peened , this is a very exciting project for me and I cant wait, heres a look at the first step Attachments:

Ah, right. I think I remember seeing that one sometime ago. yeah i got jimbo to seperate the blade which was made by fableblades in australia, and that one is gonna be paired with excalibur fittings, and then the fittings are going on the h/t longsword, the original piece was a bit too heavy for a single hander at like 3 pounds making it a really expensive wallhanger i guess so this would improve the practicality and i think the 2 pieces will look awesome

Sounds legit. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

the longsword is almost finished now, just a few more small touches, then on to the scabbard and the short sword portion, looks pretty awesome imo Attachments:

after the longsword grip has the end gaps closed and the peen blended to be more flush it will be pretty much done and off to the other portion of the build with the original blade put on excalibur style fittings Attachments:

Looking good! I'm about to have one or two (maybe three if some stuff sells) projects with him myself.
I especially like that drake longsword.

excalibur gripped and on to the scabbard portion, in very bright lighting the grip almost looks blue but in natural lighting the turquoise colors shine through, jimbo did excellent work and i cant wait for the scabbards!

I dig the new looks of those. Especially that short sword. Looks like something straight outta Dragon Age
