HOLY CRAP Those look really nice. Price points are going to be low $300s to mid $400s as of right now. I want all of those.

The fishtail pommel, yes please. Wonder if they accept kidneys.

That is a good looking sword. .....my list of "must own" keeps growing! There are at least 3 new prototypes? Can't wait to see the others. The more I think on it the more I want that Alexandria yesterday. It's supposed to be a replica of the one found in Texas a year or so ago (my home state). I just know it would be a perfect cutter.

I️ gotta have that double fullered longsword! Flattened diamond profile as well? TAKE MY MONEY!! The Alexandria is nice but I️ wish it didn’t have the Islamic text inlay that was added later. Wish it was remade as new.

Islamic text on a historic English sword? Why would they do that? That would be like putting English text on a historic Japanese katana. Do not understand. The original was captured during the crusades and the inscription was added to it as a trophy.

The original was not a Crusade capture. It was part of a batch given from King Janus of Cyprus and the Sultan al-Mu´ayyad Shaykh following a peace treaty in 1414.
They existed in the Alexandria Armory for some years before being dispersed around the world.

The double-fullered longsword is one hell of a looker! That's the one that caught my eye first, but like Storm, the Alexandria seems to be calling me now. I'n not usually a fan of etchings on non-fantasy blades, but having read the story of the original, I don't mind it as much on this one.
That wicked profile taper...man, I can't wait to see the specs on it.

That double-fullered longsword is ridiculous and amazing - as is the Alexandria. Almost no sword production company has done a longsword length blade of those proportions, so it will be sweet to see.
Edit: They've definitely de-chunked their fittings too. I imagine that will be an improvement. I hope they don't have supply problems from Chinese forges though.

Albion wait times just got longer. wait did albion wait times literally just jump higher, or do u mean u think more people will buy from them due to the closing of many chinese forges so the wait time will be longer? cause idk what chinese sword forges closing have to do with albion

just been told by Ronin Katana that they own their own molds for fittings and dont rely on factories to make them so they dont expect any delays and all 3 prototypes are in full production atm. whew

Yeah, Ronin are fine. Their fittings are made in house and are 'clean' - so were not a cause of concern for the pollution shutdown.
Container loads can still ship from China, but individual swords are in question. So it only effects people who buy direct from the forges in China.

Here is a Facebook photo of three (3) of Ronin Katana's prototype euro swords. Very Nice! Here is a pic of their new long sword with fuller. Very Nice! Thanks for posting the pics, Blade Runner. I perused Ronin's site, but couldn't find these for some reason. So, thanks again. Now...some company would make another version of the Alexandria after I already placed an order for one from Albion! Maybe this just means I'll have two. I'll have to compare dimensions, though. The wider the better, imo, and if the Ronin is thinner, I'll just keep the Albion. I am with you, though--no thanks on that Arabic inscription. If I got it, I'd have to figure a way to get it off.

wait did albion wait times literally just jump higher, or do u mean u think more people will buy from them due to the closing of many chinese forges so the wait time will be longer? cause idk what chinese sword forges closing have to do with albion For at least U.S. sword buyers, many China made swords will be perceived as too risky an option, therefore, U.S. sword makers that make the entire sword in the U.S. like Albion, will see an increase in orders, therefore, their wait times will increase. ....maybe thats why we see Valiant Armory beginning to make their own blades in the U.S.? Very glad to hear Ronin Katana will not be affected. Their business will definitely increase and we will see their swords sell out faster. I also think sword prices will start to increase soon. Now is the time to buy buy buy! maybe, but i doubt it, the price difference between them is quite large, and atm this is not affecting the major manufacturers like hanwei and ronin yet so it should be ok, and even if they do get affected people can always turn to good old windlass and give them all their business for about the same price lol

I don't have any Ronin products yet, but this new Alexandria might convince me to take a dip in to that pool.

Nothing wrong with two! Won't hurt that the Ronin will probably be 1/6th the price either... but I'm almost certain it won't be as wide as the Albion. I thought the inscription was an odd choice for Ronin - who hasn't claimed to do historically accurate before with their Euro lines. I'd prefer one without as well. If I wanted a replica down to the inscription, I'd probably pay a lot more.
