I don't see any indication of a catch/latch to hold the visor up..but it shouldn't be too hard to fit an "after market" one with a lil care ?

Maybe that's why there are no photos showing the visor up. That's something to think about.

It's the steel on the inside that counts.

Very similar to a sallet that I have. The visor should stay up, but you may have to tighten it from the inside every once in a while.

I have seen this one with a friend of mine. He says that it is a good functional piece. The finish is, and I quote, “Not the best, kinda rough and the polishing lines seem to be in different directions. And the visor requires tightening once in a while.” He also said that he added a ‘leather spacer’ on the inside of the helmet with the bolts. That made it smoother to move and it stays put most of the time. Plus he used the scotch brite super-fine steel wool and went to town on it. He has a satin sort of finish in it now. Looks super cool. One warning he has was that it is on the larger side. In fact, according to him, it should fit easily with a chain maille hood and maybe some of that soft cap thing (I don’t know what that is, he used a word for it. And then explained). In fact, pgandy should be able to get one onto his head while wearing what he is wearing in his profile pic.

I just saw a review by ‘archer’ that says the same thing about size, on the KOA site.
