I was just going to post if no one else had, it showed up yesterday. Looks like a beast of a shortsword, without being super-overbuilt, at a hard to beat price. Though, admittedly I was far more skeptical until I found out that Condor had done the work on the sword for them.

It seems a bit overpriced for a glorified machete.

It seems a bit overpriced for a glorified machete. I kinda have to agree. 2.9 to 1.9MM thickness, honestly just buy a long machete. I'm sure it's an okay cutter though.

The handle looks good, the blade shape does not appeal to me but would probably be good for combat use, and at over 2 lbs it moves up from a squash and corn machete to a brush and light firewood machete.
For my tastes, a lakonia or xophis would be the better weapon--double edged, lighter, and better configuration for stabbing, and without the Halloween ambiance!

I preordered one of these for $60 back in April. KOA let me know the other day that they had teamed up with ZGB, and would be helping them fulfill their orders for these. Mine should be here today, I probably won't be home until late this evening to play with it.
It actually startled me for a few minutes, KOA sent me an email with a tracking number and confirmed my order but I hadn't bought anything from them in months. After shooting them an email they told me what was going on.

Just unboxed it. Really not bad, it's nice and nimble and the grip is very comfortable.

One should not imagine that this thing will handle like a standard long machete you buy in the store because of it's relative thinness, as it a beastly 34oz and could probably darn near lop a head off.
