fabricated this over the weekend, started by cutting out the handle and blade tip with the plasma cutter at tafe then ground etc the blade and affixed handle scales made from 100 year old american black oak, then shaped, polished and varnished them, cuts remarkably well will cut through wood planks with no deformation of the edge and cut deep into solid logs with no problems even cuts bottles (not superclean though still needs some honing) over all happy with this one, been a long while since i did any work like this due to undertaking a welding course which dominates most of my free time, so glad to see havent lost my hard learnt skills

Nice work! I like the angles - just right to my eye for an efficient competition chopper.
