Is there anyone out there who are interested in the Roman Pugio? The Dagger of the Roman Legionary or also call the short sword.
As a Blade smith, part of my research is finding what people "Today" want or desire. There are many Pugiones on the market some good, and some you could use as a boat anchor.
So, a little poll I am taking. Which Pugione's should be more available today? I mean... which ones interest you the most? What year? What era? Style? Shape... Size and Why?

Not sure I have ever seen this picture... that is one of the thinnest one's I've seen and looks a lot easier to make.

I second the type stormmaster posted. That's a typical pugio as I imagine it, broad, thin, waisted. I'm not a big fan of daggers or fighting knives but it's nice to have a classic pair of weapons like rapier and main gauche, viking sword and seax, gladius and pugio.

Ancients fan here. I'd like to see a classic wasp waist as per the above pic, which I have also seen described as second century, so apparently it had some legs historically. I'd also be very interested in a blade that came with a metal-framed scabbard as per usual Roman style.
