What this Sub Forum is About (Project Update Thread)

This sub forum is the dedicated discussion area for the SBG Sword Design Competition. This particular thread will be used by me for general project updates too.
Every other thread in this sub forum will be dedicated to a particular aspect of the competition, from discussing and updating actual work in progress swords selected from the Competition to providing feedback on the designs and otherwise ensuring that they are made as close as possible to the designers vision as can be. This section will also be used for world-building - that is to say, there will be threads dedicated to topics such as magic, the countries that make up the Empire and their history, etc until the original collaborative Fantasy world we are creating is fully fleshed out.
And the best part is, this sub forum is open to everyone - the more people contribute, the richer and more personal this project becomes.
So enjoy the process folks - if nothing else it will give you an insight into the sword design process from beginning to end and a sneak peak behind the scenes of the sword industry that you might otherwise never see.
