 Fished out my Gunto Ashi in the parts box, popped it on to see how it looks, not too odd, will be making a hanger to fit the saya now |

That looks killer! Love the combination of aesthetics! You should put this in the sword customization area. Would get more attention I think
I also planned and east meets west tanto haha. I just need... Well. Everything. I got the blade and the saya though

Where did you get the guard? On this thread I have a picture of the hilt of an east west fusion I made as well. It was a rapier blade, handle and pommel with a jian guard: sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/thread/50624/more-frankenswords Decided to just add a pic. I love this sword so much, I let my sister have it as a gift. |

Thanks. I am actually trying to figure out how the pommel should look. I like a ring or pear pommel but couldn't bring myself to file and weld the tang....

I am sligthly better off toolwise. But the prospect of welding and filing a tang that fits an existing handle nicely doesn't do it for me. To change it back, I have to saw off the extension at best..... but then my two other project blades were a disappointment (sellers replacing them) so I have lots of free time in the next free weeks...
