As the title says, these are my first cuts with my new Jimbo Curry Longsword. It cuts well, even in my idiotic hands.
Only had bottles on me, and I'm not about to through $70 at an order of them right now. I'm going to use that money towards getting another sword from Jim...This time a customized H/T Arming sword...

Very nice! That grip is definitely a little bit shorter than a standard H/T longsword... but it looks like it worked out for you. Did you do your own sharpening on it? Nice variety of cuts too.
I still need to work in a little more variety to my cutting sessions, but for that, I probably should start with a shorter stand. What I have is about neck height right now... I'll eventually move back up to it - but what you've got looks good for general practice.

I'll eventually move back up to it - but what you've got looks good for general practice. It came with the factory edge blended into the cutting plane. All that was required was a bit of honing to bring it to a finer edge. I used a diamond honing rod. Works for me better than all the other systems and styles of honing/sharpening I've ever used. The stand is wonderful. I have the base bottle held in place by a 3/4" wide hole, and the top bottle is at my perfect height. I find that if the bottle top reaches right at the bottom of my sternum it's perfect. I really need to work on false edge cuts. Those I have a very hard time with. Thanks!
