I'm quite fond of my Sword of Homildon Hill.
Check out the review index; there's a good amount of info there.

Of the perhaps two dozen Windlass swords I`ve owned or handled the French Cut & Thrust was/is the most impressive. They really haven't done a lot wrong with this and the design fits well with the capabilities of their usual manufacturing processes.

Looking at the specs of that sword have you handled the hanwei tinker bastard to compare it to?

Looking at the specs of that sword have you handled the hanwei tinker bastard to compare it to? Never handled the H/T Bastard. It seems to have a much longer grip - not ideal for one-handed usage. Have a non-fullered H/T bastard replacement blade laying around that I plan to build a Pallasch with. The blade looks pretty good to me - like all the H/T blades I have experience with.
The Windlass FC&T is a great repro, I have now two of them, one for handling/cutting and one for my collection only.
