I really like it now
I already reviewed this sword, but I felt like the video didn't do it justice since I've come to REALLY like it... a lot. Not only does it have a distal taper in thickness, but the point of balance is pretty freaking awesome. It also cuts with great efficiency (against bottles at least), better than almost any sword I have. The machetes generally probably do a better job than a lot of one handed swords though because they're lighter, thinner, and therefore you have more control, but I'm not sure about this model from cold steel. From messing with this, it cuts just as well as the cutlass machete, which blew me away LOL.
Anyway, just watch the video
The 1830 Napoleon Saber features a bunch of French cursive scribblings and a date written as 1813. It's a replica model of a surviving historical saber that was used often by Napoleon's famous hussars... or so I've heard...
