You know with a name like Eindride ( one who rides alone ) and Lone Wolf and add to that the Wolf heads on the guard I had to have it. I feel like the sword was made for me. For all you numbers guys. Overall length - 43 3/8 inches Blade length - 32 inches Width of guard - 9 inches Length of grip - 8 inches Point of balance - 4 inches Blade width and thickness taken every 6 inches At guard - 2 1/2 inches - .025 inch At 6 inches - 1 3/4 inches - .025 inch At 12 inches - 1 5/8 inches - .018 inch At 18 inches - 1 9/16 inches - .015 inch At 24 inches 1 3/8 inches - .014 inch At 30 inches 13/16 inch - .014 inch Attack of the killer Adirondack snowmen, he didn't stand a chance cleaved right down to his you know what. Then on to the bottles. For a 4+ Lb. sword it feels and handles like a much lighter sword. The wood grid even without gloves was not uncomfortable but I only used it for three one gallon and one two gallon water bottles. Oh, and one killer snowman. All I can say is I love the sword.

The dead bottles. Oh and by the way, it was 30 degrees out. We're having a late spring, Global Warming. For anyone new here, click on pictures to enlarge.

Awesome, Gunnar. I was hoping to see this sword in someone's hands. It definitely fits well in a custom display. Glad it performs well too!

I absolutely love the sword couldn't be more happy with it. The detail in the Wolf heads on the guard is amazing and the runes are deep not etched on the blade. The black stain on the grip was coming off on my hands for a little while until I rubbed it down with a cloth a little.

It's the gateway to the woods. Wait till this summer there will be a full size concrete crusader knight standing guard next to it. And stone walls off to each side of it. I have a building disorder, I can't stop myself.

it looks cool and very fantasy like, me likie, did you make it yourself? Yep, like I said I have a building disorder, I'm always building something. Some times a couple different projects at the same time. Just finished this sword display while I'm in the middle of putting up exposed beams on the ceiling in my house, building the knight statue and an on going building of another motorcycle. Just never ends. Oh and by the way I also built the fireplace in the picture too. Thanks Verity, some times I think I buy swords just to have a reason to build a display. That and I love swords especially this one.

That is a pretty epic display, really makes me contemplate building a display and back story kinda thing for my winter warden when I get it a year from now. Props on the great looking sword.

What color scheme did you get for your Warden? I love mine... first complete kit he did. I had to wait for him to finish the specialized scabbard. ;)

Verity,
I went with all oxblood. Has always been my favorite color scheme for euros but lately after seeing what it looks like in all white and blue, ive been having second thoughts, I figure since projected completion date is so far off (due to wait times for albion blades) I could always change up the color scheme. Seeing as its a "winter" warden I feel like light snowy colors might make more sense.

whats the blade like, flex or too whippy ?

The blade is definitely not whippy, it averages 1 to 2/100" thicker the length of the blade than my Albion First Gen Crecy. It's not as thick as their earlier blades which were more for stage combat. All I can say is I've had the sword for over a month now and I still stop to look at it whenever I walk past it. Love the sword. I think I'm going to have to do a back scabbard with Wolf motif for her. I know, back scabbards are not historically accurate but neither is this sword. It's a fantasy sword so it can have a fantasy scabbard.

This one deserves a back scabbard, just for the sheer appearance of it. My opinion there. Also deserves a very decorative scabbard, maybe with some exposed dark-stained wood to compliment the grip.

Need to find a good source for heavy black leather. Been looking locally with no luck. Whether historical or practical you do have to admit it looks cool.

Talion's such a badass that he needs two. Good luck with the leather.

Good choice for this idea of scabbard, we can see the fuller and the inscriptions when the sword is sheathed ^^
