Will you guys ever make a sabre? There is a current lack of good, decently priced, durable sabres for cutting, (aside from the Windlass Civil War and Revolution sabres, but those designs get boring quickly if you're not in love with those time periods, and the Universal swords models are more for reenactors) and I've seen nothing but love from the community for RK European and Asian swords. So will you guys ever make a sabre for us? Pls say yes Much love, Jordan Vilhelm. Ps. you guys can borrow my favorite sabre for some inspiration if you want tooooo

This would be amazing. Give me enough of a heads-up and I'd buy it the day it came out.

Post some pictures of Euro swords you all are looking to see come to market, and I'll look into the costs of making them.

Maybe even an original design of saber, something more modern like a thompson inspired saber or sword with a straight blade? I'd buy a straight bladed thommy sticker with a nice balanced blade right away.

an 1889 Argentine/WKC style saber with that ergonomic grip would be a winner too, i think!

Very good idea. I second Jordans Prussian Artillery sabre. It has the modern coupled with the pinache of the old steppe sabres. If you can pull this off, with distal taper and perfect balance, you'll be the first of all the other manufacturers. CS makes that Polish sabre and that's worth sh$t. Nobody does a good sabre. Too thin stock, no taper and a heavy hilt to balance it all out. Blach! My collection is here, maybe you'll find something: sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/thread/46639/ulahns-collection-updated-04-2017

I am not particular, almost any cut and thrust with the characteristics of the original. I am looking to add a sabre to my non-existent sabre collection. I had planned to order the Princess of Wales in March after having completed my taxes. Taxes now completed and KoA sold out 2-3 weeks ago. Others caught my eye but after studying the stats I don’t think that I would be happy and am postponing my order. My main concern would be decorating the blade with etching, interfering with adding a sharp edge.

If they can make a good sabre sharp, I will definitely buy one.

Agreed on the prussian, and would surmise he British 1796 LC to be another popular choice so long as you get proper taper.

Will add my voice to the Prussian. Also, while it's a little different from what the thread was started for, as long as we're suggesting Euros, what about a katzbalger? Haven't seen too many that both look good and have an attractive price tag.

Any of Jordan's suggestions would be perfect. The Prussian and something reminiscent of a 1796 LC would probably sell better as it is quite a popular sword, even among non-sword collectors.

Seconded. The market for 1796's is crowded. The market for GOOD 1796's is not.
The Prussian 1873 would be a good candidate as well. AFAIK, there is no replica of it out there, at least not a wallhanger. Nice robust design and every popular

Post some pictures of Euro swords you all are looking to see come to market, and I'll look into the costs of making them. Went thru this 4 years ago. Former active member bought a 235.00 Cold Steel British P1796 Light Cav saber then called Craig Johnson of A&A and asked him if he could taper it historically. Craig said no-problem doing it, but the CNC time would run the kid 400.00. He did it. Sword is a screamer. ( I know, I own it.) So how many folks are going to ante up 500.00 for a correctly balanced reproduction? (Not many.)

It would be neat to see a reproduction of a spanish 1907 cavalry sword, I could actually compare it to my antique which would make for a neat review.
