Hi all. Here's a video I shot at a forge in China. Owner let me walk through and shoot everything after our meeting.

It's strange how utterly lacking in amenities and generally bare the interior is, with how clean-cut and visually impressive it is outside. Is this consistent with other forges found around China? What are the other facilities like, or are they not all owned by the same company?

They tend to be pretty spartan and dirty in the work areas. This is one of the cleaner factories. The large building is for retail sales as well as housing management and internet sales. Pictures inside are not allowed. I did snap a few, but promised not to post them. Since I do business with them, I need to keep my word.

That was fascinating. It's almost eerie with no one in there working. To me it looks like a great example of an "organized mess", it looks scattered and messy but I bet the workers know where everything is.
