Anybody knows them or their stuff? Couldnt resist with this baby here... so i took a plunge! *gulp* "Barbarian Slasher 31" Each of our blades is hand made from 6150, 5160, or 1075 steel and heat treated and tempered to a hardness of Hrc 50-54. This allows the blades to remain flexible and either hold a great edge for cutting, or remain a tough sparring or stage combat blade. This Barbarian Slasher is a big curved 6150 blade. Handle materials are bronze for the guard and pommel, and hickory for the grip. A the name implies, this a slashing beast of a sword." Blade length - 31" Blade width at base - 1.625" Total Length - 43" Balance point - 5.25" Weight -3 lb 9 oz

They look pretty good, I really like their fantasy short sword on esty, and their prices seem very reasonable, I think they are blunts tho so it might cost extra to sharpen

That has happened to me a few times when paying via PayPal. Filed a claim and the item was in the mail pretty quick.

Any more updates on this, Holg? I thought the actual piece looked good myself, but was horribly dismayed to hear your follow up.

Unfortunately that turned out a total mess... not the sellers fault as far as i can say. Tip was severely bent, grip was cracked over the whole length, and grip & blade where not in line. Opposed to a superb sharpening job, good distal taper and real bronze fittings it seems that USPS f****d up BIG this time! Seller SWORE he wrapped the sword up real good in bubble wrap and paper with a thick leather cap on the tip... nothing of all that was there when i opened up the package. Yes, USPS or our customs a**holes... maybe they opened up, played around, dropped etc. etc. Sent the sword back, seller even refunded me the return shipping cost and partly the customs fees... great guy, recommended!

That's great! The customer service, not the customs.

Also I'd put bets on Customs, I've never had anyone complain after using USPS.

Nice, Holg. Glad to hear there was a good end to this. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have another barbarian slasher posted. (That was the only sword of theirs I was interested in at the moment.) Or I'd give it a try, myself, not having to deal with customs. (Spoiled, I know.) -_-

Mail them. The swords is to be fixed and then offered again... maybe cheaper?
