So another round of new (old?) Deepeeka models in KoA. Some are interesting enough based on the stats to say the least. They at least have some distal taper, and with the profile, look quite manageable. Of course, Deepeeka prices are quite amazing as well. Looks promising enough to me, especially since they've long dealt with the Roman reenactment community and would know its needs better than most. Thinking of getting the Fullham and just sharpening it myself. What do you all think? www.kultofathena.com/new_items.asp

they are supposed to be really thick so it might be hard to sharpen by yourself, but idk what kinda grinder you have so it might not be. Thats probably why it cost more on koa to sharpen

KoA stats show somewhere in the range of 4-5mm at the base which is relatively ok. And most of these India made blades are relatively soft (at least, below the Chinese - around 50 hrc or a little less) so working them is ok. I use a combination of a grinder, files, and paper. Shouldn't take too long.
