I've had Voltan’s sword sword in my possession for a while now, but I didn't have a chance to make a full review until Thanksgiving break. The sword arrived in bubble wrap and the blade well wrapped.
I was stunned by the beautiful finish and how well it handled. It has the look of a heavy chopper, but moves quickly and recovers fast and slashes quickly. The thickness of the spine gives the blade a good heft.

The blade is wicked sharp, sharper than any other sword I have ever held, but that was expected, given your abilities at making blades razor sharp.
The handle looks great, made of Tiger Maple. It fits well in the hand, and provides a good grip with little chance of the blade slipping. There is no visible epoxy from between the wood slabs.

I really like the look, it has a “fantasy” feel, but retains a functional design that makes the sword feel like a dangerous cutting instrument.

I tested it on a few pumpkins and a number of water bottles, and, not surprisingly, it did not disappoint. With the combination of the convex edge and the heavy chopping shape, I've cut through warm butter that posed more resistance. The blade bit half an inch into the wood, with no damage to the blade edge.
All I can say that I hope to see more of Voltan’s work in the future, I can't wait to see what kinds of stuff he does next.
