Hello,
I'd like to get some blades looked after, I've got a number of them that have either never been polished, or could use a clean up.
If you know of anyone, preferably US based, that can help with this I'd really appreciate the suggestions. I'd like to emphasize the "active" part.
Thank you.

Voltan or Wes from Lonely Wolf Forge can do it for you for a good price, I think like $50 per sword or something last time I checked. Most of the other active people in the Manufacturers/Vendors section will probably also do it for you but idk about their prices.

I'd agree with Adrian with the above recommendations... one thing to consider with the higher end/art sword polishers is that you'll have to wait over 18 months, sometimes maybe more than 2 years once you get into their books before they can get to work on your blade. But, it's well worth it if you are trying to get a good sword polished, especially if it's an antique or historical value. If it fits into that category please don't work on it yourself, or have someone other than a trained togishi (polisher) work on the blade because you don't want it ruined.

Thanks everyone
These are on the higher end - I've got a bunch of Rick Barrett blades that need some love. I didn't want to bother someone like Chris Osborne if he wasn't actively taking on jobs. I can check with Josiah again, I hadn't gotten a response last time I tried.
Wait times are fine, if it's two years that's all well and good but I'd like to get the clock started.

Contact Boomershine on FaceBook. He was Barrett's apprentice and polished an older Japanese wakizashi for me recently, as well as doing a shirasaya and habaki for it. Excellent job! I know Boomershine moved recently and has been pretty busy, but he was usually responsive on FaceBook for me.

Josiah's wait list is nothing like 18 months and his prices are super-reasonable! in terms of quality/cost, you won't find a better deal and he's definitely the guy if it's Rick Barrett's blades that need polishing.

I'll try him again. We talked about doing something about a year ago but the conversation dropped. Thanks.
