It's the steel on the inside that counts.

Not ebay but if I recall correctly, someone was looking for a Clauberg made American Civil War sword. It may have been a gothic hilt but here is a p1821 cavalry type with etching and a great looking grip. No Tiffany mark but of a type sold through them. www.jjmilitaryantiques.com/Home.aspx/Catdet/JJJ636103?nm=civil-war-non-regulation-officers-sword-w-sKaplan is one of the good guys and can be found on ebay as bayoking. He currently has a couple of four figure swords I'd love to own. A super looking etched spadroon but way out of my budget. An m1833 I'd probably go into hock for except the hilt is cracked. That sword above though, priced right and his ebay sales where I have bought some minty stuff for short bucks. Not so much this week though. www.ebay.com/str/Official-J-J-Military-Antiques?

An interesting Horstmann and not as early as listed. The eagle pommel is Fredrick Widmann's type VI, as seen in Mowbray's old testament. Widmann diead in 1848, with all remaining parts and even shop employees going to Horstmann. I would list it as 1850s and a naval cadet's sword. Which academy would be the further question. That the ferrule is stamped with a number makes it read even more as an academy piece. I don't think it is made up of post ACW stock, as the type VI pommels got used up. The price is right on this one. Stellar, in retaining the scabbard. These are very diminutive swords and not suited to rough housing or test cutting but enough of an epee to do real damage to a lightly clothed chest, so no errant horseplay, please. I'm tempted myself but would haggle with the guy a bit. www.ebay.com/itm/W-H-Horstmann-Sons-Philadelphia-Naval-Eagle-Head-1816-1830-Officers-Sword/192955359806?

Del Tin St. Maurice sword for $250.00 used shipping in US included. This is a great price for nice Del Tin. The only drawback I see is this is a new seller with 0 feedback. There is still Buyer Protection but just putting it out there. www.ebay.com/itm/163757415739?ul_noapp=true

The selle is curiosityconsignmentstore. Windlass Steelcrafts Robert The Bruce Scotland medieval sword $179.99 + $27.09 shipping. Also Museum Replicas Universal Studios Movie Robin Hood Sir Godfrey Sword $199.99 + $16.52. Don’t know if they are any good, not a euro guy myself, but thought someone might be interested.

Somebody needs to bite the bullet on the Space Trooper Short Sword and write a review for my entertainment. I remember that when it was available. The ad copy was, um, entertaining.
