It looks like a cosplay prop to me. It seems inspired by Cloud Strife's Buster Sword (FFVII) and/or Guts's Dragon Slayer sword (Berserk).

It's not a real sword and not really worth anything unless some specific collector wants it because it's a copy of some video game sword somewhere. Id guess it rould cost maybe $50 to buy. It's what we would refer to as a sword-like-object (slo). It's definitely not safe to swing around in any way or sharpen or cut with. It's only good for hanging on a wall if you think it looks good, but I can't imagine anyone thinking that

It's an unlicensed replica of the main blade of Cloud Strife's Fusion Swords from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. And, yeah, purely decorative.
