I just got in a new Zombie Tools Deuce Two. I guess they just call it the Deuce now though. I cannot say enough good things about this sword; it is light and quick in the hand. From its size you would think it would be a little unwieldy, but it flows when handed and seems to want to cut. It reminds me of a two-handed Dao that can easily be handled with one hand.
Then long handle comes with ZT’s leather wrap that makes for a secure grip. The single edge is super sharp and the edge geometry looks to be easy to maintain the edge in that condition. The balance near the guard assets the sword move effortlessly from guard positions to cuts. The blade has ZT’s standard finish to protect the surface of the metal. The matching of the handle over the full tang steel is flawless too. Most of these comments have already been made by other owners’ reviews so I will not go on and on about them other than to say the Deuce is of the same great standards of other ZT swords.
I have to add another comment. The customer service from ZT was among the best too. They answered any questions I had and kept me informed during all the steps in ordering and getting the sword into my hands, thanks guys for that.
I took some photos showing my new Deuce with my Felon Bowie as a comparison. I now have a matching set to take on the scourge of any zombie occurrence. Here is some information on the Deuce from the ZT web page.
