Thought I would show these off the top one wasn't easy to do another of the lesser know falcate blades. And no the top one isn't wrapped it the thin metal of the table in on going down.
The bottom one a migration era blade, this blade is 20in long and 2 1/4in wide at the base.
These still have to be heat treated, the bevels ground in, and polished.

Really like the shape of that falcata. I'm curious as to how the handle will go, the curve seems a bit strange.

Well these falcate were strange, the handle will be curved with the tang. This will give it more chopping power.

Migration era short sword, I will do a celtic some what like it later on. The end of the tang will have some curves to it.

Well these falcate were strange, the handle will be curved with the tang. This will give it more chopping power. Indeed it will! I got to cut with one of your falcatas at Razor's cutting party last month. I cut better with that than I did with my own swords!
