Welcome to the Ronin Katana Giveaway for the week of March 14 - 19, 2016!

Our warehouse's late shift staff got into Chris Scoggin's good Sake and, unfortunately, left our silk sword bag making machine on overnight and we are seriously overstocked - so guess what? Another silk sword bag giveaway!

This contest is brought to you by Ronin Katana and sponsored by the Sword of the Month - Ronin Elite Chinese Tang Dao #1, only $875 at RoninKatana.com.

In order to participate, simply reply to this thread with an answer to the Contest and your name will be entered into the draw. On Saturday, March 19 the winner will be announced after their name is picked using a random number generator.

The prize this week will be a Ronin Katana silk sword bag shipped for free to your home.

The Contest this week is: what is your favourite martial art? Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu? Shotokan Karate? MMA? Post a video example for extra points!

The winner will be determined by Random Number Generator.

I don't really have a favorite martial art. I took a few years of Taekwondo, and I've always wanted to try jujutsu, hapkido, aikido, judo, or the like. I like grappling, throwing, and joint locks better then kicking and punching.

I grew up boxing with my dad, in the early 80's I studied Isshinryu karate, in the late 80's I studied Krav Maga for a couple years. I have shot IPSC, IPDA, Bullseye, and 3gun for 25 years. I enjoy all martial arts and like to watch MMA.

I've tried out quite a good handful of styles, but my favorite has to be Muay Thai, and by extension Krabi Krabong. I love how the twin swords flow together.

The video comes from Tiger Muay Thai, a camp in Phuket, Thailand. I'm saving to go on a trip there when I get out of the service!

Just wanted to confirm I received the gift today.

It's really very nice, pretty strong while still soft&silky in touch, with a beautiful colour scheme. Will compliment the sword I am currently finishing. Also the delivery was super fast.
