Gurthang, the iron of death, the sword used by Turin to slay the dragon Glaurung! Or Glamdring, it's a hard choice for me. Gotta comment - to my knowledge, no one has attempted to make Gurthang. This COULD be a far better choice that yet another Glamdring, Orcrist, or Andúril .

If Peter Jackson made a movie out of The Children of Hurin, I'm sure we'd see some replicas soon after....

After Peter Jackson's fan fiction re-make of the hobbit, I don't want him to make another. Brendan's looks nice, but doesn't really make me think of Gurthang much. An affordable, non custom Gurthang production sword would be awesome to see.

Peter Lyon's interpretations have been nicely done so far IMO.

I'm going to have to go with the one that started it all for me...though I have yet to own one. :D (I was also always disappointed that this sword was never given a name.)

'There are many names for this particular sword. It's maker named it vengeance. T'an Aros, in our language. But I call it K'orladis.' 'Which means? ' 'Grief.'
From the malazan book of the fallen.
