Welcome to the Ronin Katana Giveaway for the week of February 1 - 6, 2016! Could your swords use some style? I know mine could. So for the month of February we will be giving away a silk sword bag every week. Now you can win some "going out clothes" for your favourite katana. This contest is brought to you by Ronin Katana and sponsored by the new Ronin Katana Hanzo Steel Zombie Apocalypse Katana, on sale now for $275. In order to participate, simply reply to this thread with an answer to the Contest Question and your name will be entered into the draw. On Saturday, February 6 the winner will be announced after their name is picked using a random number generator. As mentioned above, the prize will be a Ronin Katana silk sword bag shipped for free to your home. The Contest Question for this week is: What is your favourite fictional sword? A Heron-Mark blade? The Atlantean? Share it with us for a chance to win - show us a picture of it if you can!One reply per person please. Thanks for participating, and good luck!

Similar to plainsman mine would have to be Narsil, as it originally was before Isildur used its shard to cut the ring from Sauron's hand. lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Narsil

Gurthang, the iron of death, the sword used by Turin to slay the dragon Glaurung! Or Glamdring, it's a hard choice for me.

The titular weapon from "The Sword of Welleran", an old short story by Lord Dunsany. It's all in the presentation, of course, but still... "What should a man do with the sword of Welleran?" Read it! The story isn't long and is seriously worth the time. And, even though I've naturally never seen it and only ever read about it, the great curved sword of Welleran sticks in my mind like no other.
