Is there such thing? The Americans got a Saber, the Japanese a Katana, Etc. Does Canada have a certain distinguishable sword?

I'm pretty sure Canadian military patterns closely followed those of the British. So, in the simplistic sense of how you are asking, it would be a sabre as well.
I'm curious as to if you have a particular sabre in mind when you say "Americans got a sabre". By and large, folk seem to think of the American Civil War cavalry sabres as the most representative or recognizable but America didn't start with that war. There were a lot of other swords, hence my wondering if there was a specific example that means America to you.
Cheers
Hotspur; my first was a plastic costume sabre from Sears & Roebuck in 1960 for Halloween and was a Civil War sabre. I spent much of that season and next winter as a midget Union cavalry trooper

Glen is correct. Canada's patterns were those of Britain. Perhaps there we some early sword forms (18th century) that were peculiar to Canada, but as far as military sword patterns, Canada uses British regulation swords.
