Hey guys. So for a while now my shinken's wrapping has been slowly loosening after each tameshigiri practice. At first the end of the wrapping has just started shifting. But now the kashira has come off and is flapping about. If anyone can lend me instructions on how to tie the end of the ito to the Kashira back onto the tsuka, that would be very much appreciated. Either that or I'll duct tape the kashira, but I'd rather avoid that. Here's some pics to demonstrate my dilemma.

Thanks a ton! That article is very informative, I'm certainly saving that article. It's not pretty, but here's the fruits of the past few hours.

Well, at least it's on! That's the article I used to learn how to tie end knots. I also find that it's helpful to super glue your kashira on after you get the ito through it. Makes it a little harder for the knot to come loose.
