I was browsing through MRL a few minutes ago and saw that their Warbrand (which I thought was discontinued some time ago) has been brought back into production under the "New Items" category. Was anyone else aware of this?
Looks to be a neat sword...

Yeah, the Maciejowski Great Helm is back, too. All three are pretty interesting. It says the hilt fittings on the two swords are aged copper. I think the first runs had brass. I like the Chopper better than the Warbrand, though. Might have to consider getting the Chopper if it ever comes up on Deal of the Day.

Yeah, I seem to remember polished brass as well. It might be interesting to tear down for a project blade, if nothing else. And at $165, that's significantly lower than the rest of MRL's offerings, not even including a potential deal of the day sale.

The Great Helm is calling me. The 4 foot long, 3.25 lb carving knife I'll pass on. I have a hard copy Windlass/MRL catalog 69 (2001). 83 swords, 14 daggers, 8 rapiers, clothes out the gumpstump. US sales must have really gone to hell the last three years. Southern Swords in the UK looks better than Atlanta. Troublesome. (2-54 years from now I can sell my Windlasses for profit... :(
